Arshad Warsi will next be seen alongside Bhumi Pednekar, Jisshu Sengupta and Mahie Gill in the horror movie, Durgamati, an official adaptation of the Telugu hit, Bhaagamathie, starring Anushka Shetty. The actor, who's famous for his impeccable comic timing courtesy his iconic roles in the Munna Bhai and Golmaal series, is being rediscovered in a way by the general masses after his stellar act in the gripping web series, Asur, which released earlier this year. His inexhaustible versatility, known to those in the industry, media and those who've closely observed his career, has suddenly become privy to one and all. Naturally, everybody is now waiting with bated breath to see him in Asur 2 and find out where the show is headed, especially given the cliffhanger it ended at. So, we posed the query to Arshad in a recent exclusive interview, and he graciously indulged our curiosity

Opening up on Asur 2, Arshad Warsi revealed, “In Jan (January 2021) I'll start shooting for Bachchan Pandey. Jan, Fab, March, I'll finish that. By March end, I'll start shooting for Asur season 2. So, March, April, May, June, it should be over. By the end of the year, I think it should be out. It's a very nice script, I've heard the second season, it's outstanding...outstanding. It's really hard to top it (season one), but, yeah...that's what is surprising. It's very hard to do better than what we had done, the first season was so interesting — to up that, I was very worried about it, but when I heard the second season, I said, 'Oh, very good.' Again, it has the same aspect of unpredictability, you'll never know...what you think and what will happen is completely different...it's very interesting.”
